Michael Kasmir Dixon, 55, of Tyrone died Friday March 25, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center.

He was born December 15, 1960 in Gary, Indiana, a son of Allen and Agnes (Pacanowski) Dixon. On August 30, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Catherine L. Owen.

Surviving are his wife, two sons Garrett Michael and Lucas Owen Dixon of Tyrone, a grandson Hunter Allen Cunningham, his mother of Tyrone and two brothers Allen “Butch” Dixon and wife Janet of Tyrone and John Dixon and wife Karen of Tyrone.

He was employed by PNC Bank, Hanover as Vice-President of Agricultural Lending following 5 years service.

He was a 1979 graduate of Portage, Indiana High School and a 1984 graduate of Ball State University with a BS in Industrial Management.

He was a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone Elks and Lambda Chi Fraternity.

Mike enjoyed camping, home projects, landscaping, woodworking and kayaking. He loved inspiring others with words and actions. His most happy times were socializing and spending time with friends and family. He was a friend to all he met.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 12 Noon at St. Matthew Church with Fr. Jozek Kovacik Celebrant. Friends will be received on Tuesday at Feller Memorial Home from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M.
