Chalmer C. "Dean"  Breon

Chalmer C. "Dean" Breon, 75, of Grazierville died Friday April 1, 2016 at his residence.

He was born December 3, 1940 in Bellefonte, a son of Roy Oscar and Mary Magdelaine (Sunday) Breon. On May 28, 2004 in Tyrone he married Betty L. Kissiel.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters Tracey Townsend and husband Ken of Oklahoma, Tina Witherite and husband Tony of Unionville, Jennifer Bonsell and fiancée Julio Gallegos of Tyrone, four sons Tim Breon and wife Nancy of Pittsburgh, Troy Breon of Milesburg, Chalmer “C.B.” Breon Jr. and wife Junko of Vero Beach, Jason Breon and wife Amy of Tyrone, three step-grandchildren, Danny Schultz and wife Susan of Tyrone, Ryan Schultz and wife Annette of Janesville, Charlie Schultz and wife Tessa of Altoona, twenty three grandchildren, three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons, a brother Harold Breon of Newville, and two sisters Aurelia Turschetta of Green Acres, Florida and Thelma Walizer of Rebersburg. He was preceded in death by a son Terrance, three brothers Ibra, Mahlon and Rufus Breon and a sister Ithael.

Mr. Breon retired in 2004 from Conrad Lumber and Pallet, Bald Eagle as a saw operator. He was previously employed at Woodcraft, State College for two years and was a painter for various places for twenty years.

He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Tyrone and was a U.S. Army veteran ,with a tour of duty in Germany, serving from 1959-1962.

He enjoyed his dog Nikko, the Tyrone Senior Center, woodworking, collecting James Dean memorabilia, Pittsburgh Steelers football and Penn State sports.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 6, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Ken Patterson officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. The Tyrone Honor Guard will accord veterans honors for the service.
