Barbara L. Shultz, 68, of Hollidaysburg died Tuesday July 11, 2017 at her residence.
She was born October 14, 1948 in Juniata, a daughter of Walter and Mabel (Causewell) Bartley. In 1994 in Altoona she married George Daniel Shultz.
Surviving are her husband, 2 daughters Brenda Lee Graves Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio, Amy Jo McGeary and husband Jeff of Roaring Spring, 7 grandchildren, 3 step-children Danny Ray Shultz of Tyrone, Ryan Scott Shultz of Houtzdale, Charlie Lee Shultz of Tyrone, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 brothers Tom and David Bartley of Altoona, William Bartley of Juniata and a sister Donna Metzler of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She retired from Blair Mills, Juniata as a seamstress following 12 years and had also been employed at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home as a nurse’s aide.
She was a member of the East Freedom Chapel.
She was an active member of her church and very active in the walks benefiting Muscular Dystrophy. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards and sending cards and correspondence to prisoners.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 14, 2017 at East Freedom Chapel with David Harper officiating. Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Home today from 6 to 8 P.M.
