Condolences

Condolence From: Rebecca Taylor
Condolence: Korey, my oldest cousin and earliest lifelong friend. We used to laugh so much at Gramma Varney's house when we were little, we almost peed our pants! We were so silly. We used to stay over at each other's houses for a week in the summer when we lived in PA. I remember your Grandma McClemen's back porch, the built in beds we used to play in at her house, and walking all of the trails from your house to her house. I remember playing with Sally when we were little. I remember getting together for parties at your family picnic area at the pavilion and at the building. I remember playing in your backyard, your parents big garden, and roller skating downstairs in your basement with Bonnie, Buck and Alexis and Gregory. I remember the year Buck got that really cool truck set for Christmas and we all thought that was so cool! Your house was always 100 degrees in the winter! ;) I remember going to Canoe Creek swimming with you and us bouncing back on an inner tube until we would fall off! I remember going to the drive-in in Portage together. We hung out when we were in college, going dancing and spending time together with our friends. I remember all of the Christmas and Easter dinners at Gramma Varney's house. I remember when you came to visit me when I lived in DuBois. And the time you visited me in New Castle and we went to Erie for the weekend. I remember being your maid of honor at your wedding. I remember your baby shower and how excited you were to get pregnant and how beautiful Brooke was as a baby. I remember getting together for her birthday parties, luau parties at my house, swimming, and all of our conversations when things started to fall apart. I also remember how happy you were when you told me about Eric and how awesome he was and how much you loved him. I was so happy that you found your true love and married him! I know how happy you were when Eric adopted Brooke so you could all be a family. I remember you telling me about Noah and AJ. I am deeply saddened that you all did not have more time together. I remember you always smiling and us always laughing together. I remember coming to your house for picnics more recently. I know how much you liked decorating your house and remodeling it. And I remember talking to you Monday night before God called you home on Tuesday. I was supposed to come visit you Wednesday but that wasn't meant to be. You fought till the end and when I visited you at your recent hospital stay you told me how much you love Brooke and how proud you are of her. You told me how much she loves basketball! You told me you wanted to be here to see her graduate and get married. Now you will still see those things but from an eagles view. I am deeply saddened that you are no longer here with those you love on earth. We will all you miss you terribly. I know you are not suffering and you are at rest. I will never forget you and I will always love you! Love always, your cousin, Rebecca xoxo
