Donna W. Kirkpatrick, 79, of Tyrone died Saturday September 10, 2016 at her residence.

She was born May 23, 1937 in Warriors Mark, a daughter of Raymond O. and Margaret P. (Hostler) Berkstresser. On June 28, 1970 in Tyrone she married Elmer Robert Kirkpatrick. He died December 17, 2012.

Surviving are a son Randy of Carlisle, a daughter Kimberly Shannon and husband Rick of Altoona, three grandchildren, Kayla Dawn and Logan Taylor Kirkpatrick and Anthony Shannon, three sisters Helen Gill of Rhodes, Michigan, Sondra McCloskey of Philipsburg, Marilyn Shadle and husband Ronald of Chambersburg and three brothers Tim Berkstresser and wife Sondra of Tipton, Randy O. Berkstresser and wife Judy and Richard K. Berksteresser all of Wetumpka, Alabama. She was preceded in death by a son David and two brothers Raymond L. and Barry W. Berkstresser.

She was former owner operator of Hullihen”s Pizza, Tyrone and had retired in 1975 from Chicago Rivet, Tyrone as an inspector following 15 years service.

Donna enjoyed her grandchildren, family, church, flowers and playing in the ladies card club.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 16, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Ken Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of services.
