Obituary for Karen L. "Kay" Parker (McClellan)

Karen L. “Kay” Parker, 74, of Warriors Mark died Sunday June 30, 2019 at her residence.

She was born June 1, 1945 in Altoona, a daughter of Kirby and Dolly Jane (Rhodes) McClellan. On March 12, 1964 at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Parsonage she married William E. Parker.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters; Shelly Haupt, Lori Maier and husband Ervin and Janel Dickson and husband John all of Tyrone, five grandchildren; William and Morgan Cambridge, Michael Haupt , Josh and Jeremy Maier, a great-grandson Julian Maier and a sister Barbara Cowher of Tyrone.

Mrs. Parker retired from Murata Erie, State College as an inspector and was previously employed at Chicago Rivet, Tyrone. She was of the Methodist faith.

Kay enjoyed going to the Newry Flea Market with her grandchildren, collecting jewelry, crafts, crocheting and painting.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Ken Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Mount Cemetery, Warriors Mark. Friends will be received at the funeral Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday fro 10 A.M. until the time of services.
