Obituary for Luther M. Wagner Sr.

Luther M. Wagner Sr.,73, of Bald Eagle died Thursday May 21, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born October 4, 1946 in Altoona, a son of Luther B. and Cordelia (Frank) Wagner. He was previously married to Cheryl Wagner who survives in Warriors Mark.

Surviving are a son Luther M. II of Leola, three daughters; Christine Zimmerman (Kevin), Yvonne Walk (Jody) and Kelly Hammond (Allen) all of Tyrone, ten grandchildren; Kelsey, Bradley and Natasha Wagner.Tyler and Shannon Zimmerman, Kyle and Kacey Poorman, Lindsey and Cameron Walk and Audrey Hammond, a great-granddaughter Veronica, four sisters; Ruth Ann Becker (William) of Greenwood, Connie Fry (Lee) of Lititz, Lucille Derrish (Scott) of Lititz, Joan Emerick (Pastor Dane) Lynchburg, Virginia and a brother David Wagner (Cindy) of Williamsburg. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kristin and a sister Aileen.

Mr. Wagner retired in 2010 from Chicago-Rivet, Tyrone as a machinist following 40 years service.

He was a member of the Bavarian Club and Unter Uns, Altoona. He was owner of Wagner's Bow Hunter Shop, Warriors Mark.

Luther enjoyed bowling, golf, line dancing, hiking and hunting. He very much loved and was proud of his family.
