Obituary for Bruce J. Tepsic

Bruce J. Tepsic, 73, of Bellwood died Monday August 24, 2020 at his residence.

He was born July 29, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas, a son of Joseph and Margaret (Sherry) Tepsic. He was first married to Marcia Ann Ramsey on December 16, 1967 in Tyrone. She died May 5, 1994. He then married Jacqueline Welshans in Winchester, Virginia on July 4, 1995.

Surviving are his wife, two sons; Bruce A. and wife Beth of Tyrone, John and wife Heather of Warriors Mark, three grandchildren; Noah and Ashley Tepsic and Megan Hoffman and husband Jason, his mother of Bald Eagle, two step-children; Terra Filer of Altoona, Matthew Filer of West Virginia, three step-grandchildren; Daemion Bogel, Kaeleigh and David Filer, and four brothers; Joseph of Altoona, Mike and wife Terry of Bald Eagle, Austin of Bald Eagle, Mark and wife Vicky of Bald Eagle and a sister Arlene Parkhill and husband Bruce of State College. He was preceded in death by a son David.

Bruce was self employed at Tepsic Auto Body, Grazierville and also was a truck driver and had worked at Conrail for four years. In addition he was a member of the National Guard, Frankstown for 19 years.

He was a member of the Bald Eagle Sportsman’s Club, Hall’s Run Hunting Camp, Black Moshannon and the NRA. He had attended Bald Eagle Missionary and Alliance Church.

Bruce enjoyed being with his family, skeet shooting tournaments, hunting and camping. He loved riding his Harley.

Friends will be received at the Bald Eagle Sportsman Club, 289 Bald Eagle Sportsman Road, Tyrone, on Saturday August 29, 2020 from 2 P.M. until the funeral service at 4 P.M.
