I remember several things about "Mr. ivie". His solid faith in Christ, his gentle mad humble spirit, and his love of music ... especially Gordon Lightfoot. It seems that he often tried to use music to connect with his students. His delivery, as a teacher was rather dry, I'm not going to pretend it wasn't, but no one doubted his sincerity and heartfelt desire to help students learn. I trust that he is now enjoying seeing his Lord face to face!
