Craig Turnbaugh

From Janice (Dillon) Hoffman Hi Craig, your family has been on my heart with your dads passing. I wanted to let you know that I told my mom about your dad last night. Often times, people believe that just because a loved one has Alzheimers they are not given the right to grieve or to feel sadness. It is part of what makes us human and our long term memories often remain for a long time. When I told mom, she teared up and said "Not Clair!" I told her that he had led a wonderfully full and loving life and that God called him home. She said "he was my friend and so nice to me." After about 30 mins she teared up again and I asked her what was wrong and she said she was still thinking about your dad. I tell you this, because your dad left a lasting impression with mom, and with many others. That says a lot about the kind of man your dad was. My dad was non existent in our lives, so I honestly do not know what it must feel like to have one. I know you were blessed and I hope that you are finding strength in each other, and in God.
