Playmates throughout the year

Dianne was one of my first playmates in Bald Eagle. My mom, (Rose) said, Dianne always plays nice. I remember her coming up the road from Frank and Sarah Kobucks house to ours with her dollies bouncing vigorously in their buggy on sunny days to play with my sisters and me. In the fall, we would sometimes jump into great piles of leaves or even haystacks in the barn. One Winter too icey for sledding we experimented with a large round metal "saucer" which Dianne was our willing pilot...wow did she go fast down the hill! We yelled DUCK Dianne as she disappeared under the porch and hit the side of the house. Smash! Clang!.... She crawled out fine but carried a scar on her finger as a result of the impact from that day forward. She showed it to me the last visit we shared. She was also excited to be moving into a new apartment. God bless you my friend, Rubia Sherry
