To all Mike's Family and Friends: You have my deepest condolences and sympathies. Mike was a close childhood and high school friend. While we lost touch long ago, he did have a lasting impact on me during those years and I mourn with you all. We not only had a lot of fun together as teammates on the swim team, taking road trips, and lots of experiences in Chicago, he was a trustworthy and dedicated friend. I remember him as a hard worker from all the jobs we did together from Sy's farm to roofing. He taught me a lot about good honest work ethic. I recall times out on the farm during the long and hot summer days when I wanted to quit but Mike was steadfast and encouraging. He always finished the job, often going the extra mile.
